Job Description and Responsibilities:
McPhat Studios is looking for talented and experienced Texture Artists. Texture Artists are firstly responsible for the creation of entire kits, or parts of these (engines, vertical and horizontal stabs, wings and fuselages). In addition to this, McPhat Studios expects Texture Artists to be able to handle and create 'regular' diffuse maps, but also to be proficient in creating specular and normal maps. As a Texture Artist you have a keen eye for detail, but also knowledge about the structure of materials in aircraft. You are creative, both in the creation process, but also when it comes to problem solving. For this particular platform (Flight Simulator X), you have a vast knowledge about aircraft, the operation of aircraft and the aviation industry in a total sense. You know how to work hard, shift gears fast and are familiar with deadlines, schedules and milestones. Furthermore, you are a team player and self motivating (!!)

McPhat Studios is looking for talented Junior Repainters. As a Junior Repainter you are firstly responsible for the preliminary phase of the repaint process. Gathering logo's, colour swatches, doing research, studying and collection pictures. You are able to reproduce liveries. In addition to this, you are eager to help out and assist the to you assigned Texture Artist where ever you can. You are eager to learn and self study in an enviroment where more Senior Artists are not always there to help you. You have mid-level skills when it comes to Photoshop. For this particular platform (Flight Simulator X), you have a vast knowledge about aircraft, or at least one type. You know how to work hard, shift gears fast and are familiar with deadlines, schedules and milestones. We do not expect magic from you, nor are you required to have the qualities of a texture artist, but you are a team player, self motivating and able to learn on your own.

As a Webmaster you are firstly responsible for the implementation of new componenst and to populate our (VirtueMart based) webshop. You are able to work with both these Database driven CMS'/Shops are at least a fast learner, who is willing to find out what he/she does not know and has a keen eye how to deal with the sometimes overwhelming and time consuming features such componenst pose. You know how to work hard and on your own. We do not expect magic from you, nor are you required to have the qualities of a texture artist, but you are a team player, self motivating and able to learn on your own.
