A year ago we starting doing something not yet often seen in 'repaint land'. Something different, something new. Custom rivets, weathered liveries, dirty fuses, chipped of paint jobs, discoloured panels, we made planes look worn, torn and weathered. Today, we are not the only ones anymore. Even renowned shiny and 'cosmopolitan' glossy repainters, known for their static shine and reflection textures started to wear tails, chip fuses.

So one could say, it is time for something new. Perhaps, you could even say, it is time to set a new standard. Or better yet, let's say it is time to take 'it' to the next level.

At the moment, our Lead Texture Artists -side kicked by the staff- are working on Ultra High Definition Textures (UHDT) and High Definition Textures (HDT) for various add-ons, taking the level of detail of our work, to a unseen height (without a loss in performance).  First in line is an American Airlines MD-88, where of you can see screen shots of the normal wing and a (work in progress) UHDT wing.

Simultaneously being worked on and almost finished is the HDT PMDG 747 kit. Next in line is the Level-D 767. With the introduction of HDT and UHDT, we are also -slowly- shifting to Flight Simulator X only.
As much as we all loved and got to enjoy Flight Simulator 9, it does limit our work tremendously, when compared to FSX.

More news about UHDT, HDT and what the difference between these two will be made public in our new UHDT/HDT section on the main website.

Enough talking, head on over to the new section on our website and check out the pictures....

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
